Sebha is a significant city in Libya Southerner. It was the capital of Fezzan . Sebha is a good base to explore the area of Fezzan and is used a stop on your way for Chad and Niger. To go from Ghadhames to Sebha or vice versa you will cross the area of Fezzan Akakous. In the town of Sebha, you will be able to arrange some formalities here. The city has to little offer the tourist except in the extension of Sebha that you (with a 4WD) can obtain through the area of Ramlat Dawada, with 11 lakes. There are many strange things to these lakes, they are not only beautiful. One of them has quality to really change its colour, between the green, red and blue, probably due to the algae. Dirty lakes like the Dead Sea, but just at the edges of these lakes, you obtain rising fresh water while digging in sand.
People of this sector were scorned by Libyans in general, because they eat worms of the lakes.
They are not worms naturally, but a kind of pink shrimps.
