Egypt Nile Tours & Jordan Travel

Enjoy the beauty of Egypt and Jordan in a unique experience takes you back through history, Starting from Cairo with the variety of it’s ancient and islamic sightseeings. Cruise the nile for 3 nights then fly to enjoy the peaceful Red Sea, Fly to Jordan to see the legendary ‘red-rose city’ of Petra and other sights.

Day 1:Arrival Cairo

Arrival to Egypt. Sun East Tours  Representative will meet you at the airport, assist you through customs and will be with you to help you check into your hotel,  review your itinerary, answer questions and most of all, help to make sure that your trip will be of the best experiences you’ve ever had.

Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

 

Day 2:Pyramids Tour

Breakfast. Then Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide to enjoy your tour visiting to:
–  Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. It is the last of the seven Wonders of the ancient world that still standing. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren

  • Sakkara is 27-Km Southwest of Cairo. Including a visit to the step Pyramids of Sakkara (The first proper Pyramids built for the king Zoser, it is considered evolution of the Pyramid from the simple Mastaba to the Pyramid in its known form)
    • Followed by a visit to The Pyramids of Unas & Oser-Kaf the Mastaba. Tomb of Mereruka, Ti & Pta-Hotep (carved and painted tombs)
  • Then Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt where Colossal Statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx,

At the end of the day we will transfer you back to your hotel.

 

(Optional) Nile Dinner Cruise with Show including transportation, dinner, Belly Dancer, Tanura Show.

Day 3:Cairo Tours

. Breakfast. Then Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby to enjoy your tour visiting to:

  • The Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.
  • Then visit the renowned Saladin Citadel that was built by Saladin in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
  • Then continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine border brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques …etc.

in the evening transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:Abu Simbel(Optional)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Aswan and free time at your hotel in Aswan with an optional excursion to Abu Simbel temples (Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt’s top tourist attractions) to see the magnificence of these temples. They are undisputedly one of the world’s most breathtaking monuments, and Egypt’s second most visited touristic site (the Pyramids of Giza being on the top of the list) the most remarkable feature of the temple of Abu-Simbel is that the construction is oriented in a way that twice a year, the morning sun rays shine through the length of the inner temple cave and illuminate the statues of the four gods seated at the end of the cave. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel for a peaceful over night stay in Aswan.
 

Day 5:Aswan Sightseeings

Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan. Then transfer to embark your Nile River Cruise before Lunch at 11:00 a.m, then enjoy visiting the world famous High Dam, The awesome Philae temple, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor , and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.
 

Day 6:Kom Ombo/Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board and Visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu, lunch on board after that Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, Horus Temple in Edfu. Take afternoon tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
 

Day 7:Luxor Sightseeing

Sail to Luxor, have breakfast on board then Visit the West Bank and the Valley of the Kings, The temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari & the Colossi Memnon, Lunch on board and continue visiting East Bank (Karnak and Luxor Temples), enjoy afternoon tea during sailing. Dinner on board Overnight in Luxor.
 

Day 8:Arriving Dahab

Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast at 08:00 a.m. Then you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for flight to Sharm

Note: . Most flight from Luxor to Sharm is indirect flight via Cairo Airport. According to egypt air Upon arrival at Sharm International Airport, transfer to Dahab, about an hour far from Sharm. Overnight in Dahab.
 

Day 9:Dahab Holiday

Breakfast at your hotel in Dahab with free day at leisure at the hotel sandy beach and in Dahab with fantastic optional excursion to enjoy snorkeling with peaceful overnight stay at your hotel in Dahab.
 

Day 10:St. Catherine

After breakfast, transfer from your hotel in Dahab to visit The Monastery of St. Catherine located at the heart of Sinai and at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses. Fronted by gardens and cypress trees, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its rich library houses the world’s second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You can see the Burning Bush and a large number of antique works of art: invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors, exquisite wall paintings and other fine religious ornaments. Overnight in Dahab.
 

Day 11:Flight to Amman

Breakfast at your hotel in Dahab and then you will be transferred to Sharm International Airport for flight to Amman. Sun East Tours representative will meet & assist you upon your arrival at Amman International Airport. After that you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in. Upon arrival at the hotel he will do your check in and give you detailed information concerning your tomorrow’s trip. Overnight in Amman.
 

Day 12:Jerash / Ajloun

After breakfast, you will be transferred towards north to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, the Temple of Artemis, fountains and its city walls pierced by towers and gates. Thenmove to Ajloun Castle. It was built by Izz Al-Din Usama, one of Salah Al-Din’s generals in 1184 AD. Back to your hotel in Amman to overnight.
Day 13:Madaba / Dead Sea

After breakfast, we will visit Madaba where you see the famous 4th century Byzantine mosaic map of Israel inside the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Then transfer to Mt. Nebo, the place where Moses had gazed at the Promised Land and is believed to be his burial ground. You visit the old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. After this we will drive towards the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea, there you will enjoy the health benefits of its mineral mud and float on its salty waters which are 10 times saltier than ocean water. After this we will drive towards Petra and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 14:Petra Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will have a tour in Petra, the biggest attraction in Jordan. Petra was first established in around 6th century B.C by the Nabatean’s, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended up to Syria. Upon arrival you will begin the trip on horseback to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. After the tour we will drive 2.5 hours back to Amman hotel to overnight.
Day 15:Final Departure

Check out time is at 12:00 noon and depending on the time of your flight, we will transfer you to Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport for your departure.
