Egypt, Jordan & Jerusalem

Day 1:Arrival Cairo

Arrival to Egypt. Sun East Tours  Representative will meet you at the airport, assist you through customs and will be with you to help you check into your hotel,  review your itinerary, answer questions and most of all, help to make sure that your trip will be of the best experiences you’ve ever had.

Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

 

Day 2:Pyramids Tour

Breakfast. Then Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide to enjoy your tour visiting to:
–  Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. It is the last of the seven Wonders of the ancient world that still standing. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren

  • Sakkara is 27-Km Southwest of Cairo. Including a visit to the step Pyramids of Sakkara (The first proper Pyramids built for the king Zoser, it is considered evolution of the Pyramid from the simple Mastaba to the Pyramid in its known form)
    • Followed by a visit to The Pyramids of Unas & Oser-Kaf the Mastaba. Tomb of Mereruka, Ti & Pta-Hotep (carved and painted tombs)
  • Then Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt where Colossal Statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx,

At the end of the day we will transfer you back to your hotel.

 

Day 3:Cairo Tour/ Fly to Aswan

Breakfast. Then Meet with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby to enjoy your tour visiting to:

  • The Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.
  • Then visit the renowned Saladin Citadel that was built by Saladin in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
  • Then continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine border brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques …etc.

In the evening transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:Abu Simbel Temples

Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, then at 11:00 am tour to enjoy a tour to one of Egypt’s top tourist attractions, Abu Simbel temple, which were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II approximately in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari. From Aswan to Abu Simbel is about a 03 hours and half drive one way. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5:Aswan Nile Cruise

Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan. Then transfer to embark your Nile River Cruise before Lunch at 11:00 a.m, then enjoy visiting the world famous High Dam, The awesome Philae temple,  which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor , and  the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.
Day 6:Edfu / Kom Ombo

Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board and Visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu, lunch on board after that Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, Horus Temple in Edfu. Take afternoon tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:Luxor West Bank

Sail to Luxor, have breakfast on board then Visit the West Bank, take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC , at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea during sailing. Dinner on board Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8:Luxor East Bank/ Sharm

Breakfast on board, Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast at 08:00 a.m. Then transfer to visitKarnak and Luxor Temples. Then transfer to Luxor Airport for flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Most flights are indirect flight via Cairo Airport. Upon arrival at Sharm. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Sharm.
Day 9:Sharm El Sheikh

Breakfast at your hotel in Sharm el sheikh with free day at your hotel and on the beach in Sharm El Sheikh with optional excursions available and overnight stay.
Day 10:Sharm to Jordan/ Wadi Rum

Box breakfast from your hotel.  You will be met and assisted by our company representative at your hotel inSharm El Sheikh and transferred by air-conditioned van class to Taba Border the journey takes about 3 hours drive. Then transfer from Taba border to Arava Border ( Taxi fees and taxes to be paid locally by yourselves ) to cross to the Jordanian side, where you will be met by another representative who will assist you through immigration and then you will depart Aqaba for Petra. Along the way you will stop to explore Wadi Rum, where you will enjoy an exhilarating 4X4 ride visiting the Wadi RUm Eshreen, the Moving Sand, Al Khazali, Abu Aineh and Rum Mountain. We will see the trail of Lawrence of Arabia and the famous Red Mountains. Afterwards we proceed north to the spectacular lost city of Petra. Overnight in Petra.
Day 11:Petra Tour

After breakfast departure for a day tour to the red rose city Petra, Jordan’s biggest attraction. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. Upon arrival you will begin the trip on horse back to the Siq, the canyon, and then by foot until you reach the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. In the afternoon drive to Amman hotel for overnight.
Day 12:Tour to Jerusalem

At 7:00 am pick up from your Amman hotel to head for the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border to leaveJordan. Your tour guide welcomes you, then drive via the Judean desert to the Holy City Jerusalem. We start with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives, and walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. In the old city we view the Wailing Wall, which represents the last remnants of the Jewish Temple, destroyed by the Romans. If open to visitors, we ascend to the Temple Mount to look at the famous Dome of the Rock. Then we continue to the Via Dolorosa, which leads us to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus Christ was crucified and buried. Back to Amman. Overnight in hotel in Amman.

 

Day 13:Amman City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, then you will be transferred to start your tour in Amman to enjoy the Roman Theatre, Archaeological and Folklore Museums and King Abdullah Mosque. Proceed to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East, Nymphaeum, North theatre, Artemis temple, St. Cosmos and Demeanors church, south theatre.Back to your hotel and Overnight in Amman.
Day 14:Final Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Amman Airport for final departure.
