Arrival From
EGYPT Via Speed Boat, Meet & Assist By Our REP –Transpiration To
The Wadi Rum For 4X4 “Vast, echoing and God – like”, these are
the words T. E. Lawrence used in describing Wadi Rum, the largest and
most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscapes. In these anci
ent valleys, the elements of nature have modeled and carved out this
panorama and have left us strips of scorched earth, sides of carved
mountains and stretches of sand which have the ability to change into
shades of yellow, red find orange. The hours before sunset and those
of early morning are the best moments to appreciate the landscape;
however, there are many places to visit in this vast terrain, the most
important of which are Iawrence of Arabia’s springs, Jebel Khazali and
the mountain of the seven pillars of wisdom. The most
tantalizing experience, however, remains a night’s stay besides the
fire and under the most magnificent starry desert sky. After Sun
Set(17:00), Drive To Petra.
Over Night in Petra.

Visit
PETRA
“Jordan
abounds in archaeological riches, from Neolithic ruins to the desert
castles of Omayyad Princes. Chief among these national treasures is
the soul stirring, rose – red city of Petra, now a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.
Petra
is the legacy of the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled
in south Jordan more than 2000 years ago. Much of Petra’s appeal comes
from its spectacular setting deep inside a narrow desert gorge. From
the main entrance, the visitor travels on foot through the awesome “SIQ”,
an immense crack in the sandstone that winds for one kilometer between
overhanging cliffs. Petra’s most famous monument, the Treasury,
appears dramatically at the end of the Siq and various walks
and climbs reveal literally hundreds of buildings, facades,
tombs, baths, funerary halls, temples and
a 3000 seat theater from the lst Century AD” After Noon drive
to Amman Hotel For O/Night.

To Visit Madaba & Mt. Nebo
“ Madaba
is most famous for its mosaics ; Madaba ' s chief attraction in the
contemporary Greek Orthodox church of st. George – is a
wonderfully vivid, sixth – century Byzantine mosaic map showing
the Jordan River Valley and the Nile Delta . Although
damaged Jerusalem is clearly visible and other holy sites .With
two million pieces of colored stone , and a full 25 × 25 meters in its
original state , the map depicts hills and valleys , villages and
towns , as far a way as the Nile Delta .Madaba continued
to be inhabited in the Nabatean and Roman periods , and
was home to an important regional school of Mosaicists in the
Byzantine period . Many of its outstanding mosaic church
pavements have been preserved in their original places or in the
Madaba Archaeological Museum .
Then
Visit Mt Nebo, Mount
Nebo, to the top of Pisgah
which is across from Jericho Deuteronomy (32:1- 12) the
Memorial of Moses, where it is presumed his death and burial
place. Where God reaffirmed the covenant of faith,
Mount Nebo
is one of Jordan’s most sacred sites According to the Bible, it
is the place from where Moses viewed the Promised Land
in Canaan,
and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. And consists of a
Trefoil church built by early Christians at least as
early as 393 AD, and is famous for having been visited by the
Pilgrim Ageria. Later, traditions say that it was here that the
Prophet Jeremiah hid the Ark of the Covenant to save it
from the conquest of Jerusalem
by King Nebuchadnezzar in 588-87 SC. During the Byzantine
era, the Mount Nebo
summit and Church ( Siyagha in Arabic) had different names
including Naba, Nebo, Abarim and
Phasga.Then
Drive To Dead Sea,
The Dead Sea is a destination for visitors from around the world due
to its unique water qualities, climate and historical and spiritual
legacy. This "Sea of Salt"
sits amidst the sensational mountains of the Biblical Kingdoms of
Moab, Ammon and Edom to the east, and the rolling hills of Jerusalem
to the west. Enjoy a buoyant swim while reading a newspaper or just
watch the thick, gleaming snow like rocks that give the area a strange
surreal sense as if it were in another world. One should always
remember that this is the lowest point on Earth and a place that is
believed to be the site of five biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah,
Admah, Zebouin and Zoar. Evening Drive to
Aqaba
City For O/Night.
